Mestre Paçoca

His real name is Sandro Felix dos Santos. He was born in the northern Brazilian port city of Recife, where he began practicing capoeira in 1981.
Paçoc's first teacher of capoeira was mestre Benti-vi. In 1985, however, he met Camisa in his hometown of Mestre and commuted to Rio de Janeiro for the next three years to see this brilliant teacher. He moved to Rio in 1988. Here he trained with the already mentioned Mestre Camisa and with many other teachers. He gathered experience on the street houses and in the struggles of Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
In 1992, he was invited to a seminar in Kopenhaagen. This year has been a turning point for Paçoca. From now on, he was mainly active in Europe. He first taught in Berlin, Munich and other German cities. Over time, he broadened the scope and established an academy in Barcelona and continued to be involved in Sweden and other European states. He eventually settled in Vienna in 2000.
In October 2009, he resigned from the Abadá Capoeira Association and founded his own association, Vem Camará Capoeira. He currently oversees capoeira lessons in 13 cities in the Czech Republic, as well as four towns in Slovakia, one town in Hungary and two towns in Austria.
In August 2012, he received in Brazil from Mestre Capixaba, along with eight other Mestres from around the world, Corda Vermelho (red belt), the highest possible level in the capoeira.
